One of the best XMas we had in Maldives.Making the XMas tree and the crib was real challenge...with paper.It was so much fun and satisfaction making it for the kids...i didnt want them to miss XMas even in Male...There was even a letter from Santa u know.

Our last XMas with Appacha at Chungam. Lot of fun with all cousins....dont know we cousins will be together again coz Mukul ammama and all gone to US. Fun at Kumarakom too. Amy Aunty lighted all diyas. saffina aunty and aaron uncle came. It was so much fun.

Thomaskutty...an unfinished chapter.

Thomaskutty my cousin just went away all of sudden on Sept 1st...2010. A hit and run case right in the middle of the night.Just cant believe that anything like that wud ever happen to someone so young just 28 I guess.His wedding was last year and he and Nancy did not even celebrate their first wedding anniversary.Dont know how Neena aunty and all will fill the gap????? What a fate.......and that is one loss from our 25 cousin gang.

Onam 2009

In Male'we dont get to celebrate anything yet we try our best so that the children dont miss anything. This Onam we had a sadhya with10 curries on a plastic vazhaila.Then there was the Onam celebration by India Club. my first programme here. I just wanted the kids to enjoy and they did. We did a collage of kerala folk arts. Mathunni did Pulikkalli and Appu in the Vallamkali. The audience liked it and all appreciated....but the best thing was the smile on the faces of the kids.

On 5th November Appu graduated from LKG.His Saari Aunty at Galolhu Madrasa gave him a Rockstar Hat and gift. Report giving in Maldives is a great day for Children as they do it with such grandeur.Appu usually hates goin to school but on report giving it is an exception....he loved the day.

On November 12th 2010 we went to Kudabandos which is an uninhabited island in the Maldives. It was a day trip from Achachan's office . We went by Handhu Faali a safari boat.It was our first time on a safari tour. Children had lot of fun.Mathunni and Appunni had a great time playing in the water.....whole day until they were sunburnt.We did not get into the water as I am sick of the sea. Food on the boat was great. A great da together in the maldives. Saving all this for mathu and Appu to read when they are big.
